Check out the other links and leave a comment along the way. The emphasis of this link party is to celebrate the trying of something new, whether it works out exactly as planned or not, so a little encouragement here and there would not go amiss!

The link will remain open until 23.59GMT on December 31st, so you have plenty of time to try something new and link up and join the party :)

  1. I know you will love your Bernina! I love mine. Several years ago, well it was more than 20 years, I made all the girls in our family denim jumpers, not sweaters, but a dress like that you have to wear a blouse with. After 13 jumpers I decided I needed a new sewing machine, one that would do some fancy stitching. I had no idea what kind I wanted. I went to a shop that sold fabrics and sewing machines. I bought the Bernina 1080. It does not do a lot of fancy stitches, but enough for me. Once in all these years I have completely put it away. That lasted about 2 weeks. I love my Bernina!

  4. My sewy friend up the street was gifted a 70's Bernie with a gorgeous red case - the owner had died, and nobody else in the family sewed, so they asked my friend if she could find a use for a dusty old machine? When my friend went to get it, she realized it was a Bernie - it was love at first sight, lol! You'll love yours as well!

  5. Are you continuing the New to Me in 2015? Will there be a new button? I'm determined to participate in 2015.
