Nearly 40 Shades of Green

Last time you looked this was what my green hearts looked like.

Well, with a bit of this

and a bit of that

it now looks like this

Ready just in time to make my husband comfortable as he settles in front of the TV this afternoon to cheer Ireland on in their attempt to beat France and win the Six Nations Rugby Championship!

The pattern for this Shamrock Heart Cushion is also the newest addition to my fledgling Craftsy Pattern Store so the Luckenbooth Pillow Pattern does not look quite so lonely any more :)

Time to get back to that WIP list (well maybe after the rugby!).

Linking up to

Knotted Cotton

and just sneaking in for this!

  3. Wow, that was quick! It looks beautiful. The best I shall manage for my rugby watching husband might be to bring him a drink so that he doesn't have to move from the TV.

  13. Those puffy hearts are so cute. Makes me think of those cartoons where that characters heart swells up when he is love smitten. I am sure your husband will enjoy the pillow as much as he enjoys his rugby knowing you made it for him.

  15. I really like it! I like all things with repetitive shapes like your hearts or hexagons. And what a clever way to sew them. I invite you to share your hearts on Hexie Weekend. This could be just the pattern to be a catalyst for a similar pillow but with hexagons. Closes Monday, Midnight.

  19. LOL - see I log in as the other blog I moderate - Raincross. Just love your pillow and thanks for linking to Hexie Weekend - your pillow fits right in even though it's hearts - I can see one in hexies.
