As ever the requests for the blocks are a great test of my stash. This quarter the requests included
Jewel tones,
Bright, bold saturated colours
and bright, happy colours!
I hope these hit the mark :)
Can't wait to see what wings my way too. I think with one more round, which signs up on May 1st, I will have enough to make a quilt!

I think you must work well under pressure, Fiona!!!
ReplyDeletethey are lovely blocks - I like the bright and happy the best! What was your choice of colours?
ReplyDeleteDespite my best intentions I always find that I end up doing a lot of my deadline sewing at the last minute. Thankfully though never really stresses me, if anything it makes me more focussed and I always manage to get what I plan done.
ReplyDeleteThese sorts of things always stress me, trying to find the 'right' fabrics!
ReplyDeleteIt would be fun to exchange blocks for quilts like this so you'd get a great mix of things you don't have. Love it :)
ReplyDeleteI think we all leave things to the last minute! Lovely blocks x
ReplyDeleteDeadlines do help us get done..even if it is right before the deadline. 4 rounds...now that is dedication!!! What colors did you choose?
ReplyDeletegood variety here glad you got them done by the deadline, panic over
ReplyDeleteWe would never get things done without deadlines!! Love the blocks. Well done.
ReplyDeleteLovely blocks - I particularly like the jewel tones. I imagine this is an exercise of thinking outside your comfort zone by using colours you wouldn't normally consider together.

Great colours!
ReplyDeleteLucky Bee girls .... and your little Scrappy blocks coming back to you in the reds and blues are beautiful. I missed out on the Scrappy Trip Block buzz the first time around. Hope to get to a Scrappy trip quilt started soon. I think they are delightful! I Love Bonnie Hunter! Stitch a stitch for me.... I'll have to live through your Scrappy Trips for a while. janita
ReplyDeleteI tend to leave things to the last minute too. I guess I like working under pressure. Your blocks turned out beautiful and totally meet the requested colors. I particularly like the one with the jewel tones.
ReplyDeleteLovely combinations of colours. I hate working to deadlines, but sometimes it does help me get things done.
ReplyDeleteI too am working under some deadlines, but mine are not quite so cheerful looking.
