I can't imagine how much time it to unpick the dense vines..it is so hard not to go on auto-pilot when sewing in long stretches sometimes. I feel for you having to unpick machine embroidery, the last time I had to do that I had to wash the fabric as it was quite badly marked, I was gutted. Great finished item though it looks great! xKandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05765946096687063480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652279121873384331.post-22445742170681746922012-07-18T09:48:07.375+01:002012-07-18T09:48:07.375+01:00Framing the sunflower with embroidery is a very cl...Framing the sunflower with embroidery is a very clever idea, Fiona. The list isn't so bad, it keeps me on track having it all written down somewhere, otherwise I have a bad habit of starting things and never finishing them. I can't start a project and not do anything else until it is finished, I would be bored to tears, so I really need something to remind me just what I have started.Celtic Thistlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07033484481693226138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652279121873384331.post-1083268743864865582012-07-18T08:10:20.693+01:002012-07-18T08:10:20.693+01:00Looks fantastic! The machine embroidery is a lovely touch altho' I can imagine how hard unpicking the bits that went wrong was!!

Your project list scares me - I just can't line my projects up like that - I'd go and hide somewhere. As it stands right now I have a knitting project underway and a crochet project lined up that have to be completed before Christmas (the blanket will take a while) plus my monthly afghan CAL (which I'm now 2 months behind on - oops!), then anything else I choose to do is a bonus ... when I get back to doing anything at all that is!!Fionahttp://handmadebyfiona.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652279121873384331.post-51853841690971453792012-07-18T08:05:51.161+01:002012-07-18T08:05:51.161+01:00Your Dresden looks lovely!
