I hope to have some more new to me quilting techniques to be able to link up next month when I'm quilting my pinwheel quilt and table runner. I use a similar appliqué method with the embroidery machine, but my background and stitch n tear are in an embroidery hoop which probably makes it easier to cut away the appliqué fabric, also I have some duck billed scissors which look weird but make it much easier to cut to 1/8th! Off to check the link as I'd like to try a hand stitched zip xBenta AtSLIKstitcheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02941463498655836647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652279121873384331.post-85914603717134352812015-01-25T06:07:22.153+00:002015-01-25T06:07:22.153+00:00Whatever you call the new to you technique, it'...Whatever you call the new to you technique, it's very effective, Fiona. I'm struggling with each little piece, LOL - I just need to get back in the groove and refamiliarize myself with the technique :) As long as it works out well, I can use the finished project as a New to Me and a Ho Ho Ho - it's a "twofer" :D Sandra :)https://www.blogger.com/profile/16239494415344028806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652279121873384331.post-79355063698979719682015-01-25T03:33:36.421+00:002015-01-25T03:33:36.421+00:00I would love to try something new, but I don't...I would love to try something new, but I don't have time!
