New to Me in October

Welcome to another New to Me link party

Most of my new experiences this month are happening now as we are currently sailing from not only a New to Me city, but a New to Me country

to another New to Me city with a few more New to Me stops in between!

Before we left I did manage to fit in a sewing New to Me when I used this recently purchased book

to make my (late!) Bee block for the Fat Stash Brit Bee

So that's my New to Me this month, now it is your turn to share all the fascinating things that you have been up to in October. As ever please help to spread the word by linking back to this post in your post and/or adding the blog button to your sidebar.

Check out the other links and leave a comment along the way. The emphasis of this link party is to celebrate the trying of something new, whether it works out exactly as planned or not, so a little encouragement here and there would not go amiss!

The link will remain open until 23.59GMT on October 31st, so you have plenty of time to try something new and link up and join the party :)

  2. WOW that's quite a combination of NEWs - I hear Montreal is gorgeous! I haven't been there in a few years, and the last time I was there we were only driving through it on our way to the east coast. I kept my eyes closed the entire time because the roads and drivers are downright SCARY :D It's a favourite destination for school trips here - it's only about 500 kms from Toronto, and a very historic city :)

  9. Enjoy the cruise! Despite living in Canada for nearly 3 years I never made it to either Montreal or Quebec City ... it was on the list and then we moved again! Miami is on my list for 2015 though - hopefully in February. Looking forward to seeing your photos from the trip!

  10. I'm from Montreal, I hope you enjoyed your trip. We had a strange weather this October, sometimes too hot for the season, sometimes too cold. I hop you got at the colors in the trees, even in downtown Old Montreal.
